Shattering the Stigma originally started in 2012 as a place for  individuals to talk about their mental health conditions – people submitted articles about how their conditions affected them and how mental health is still stigmaised.

The articles are only edited in order to protect those submitting and ourselves from legal issues, other than that we do not aim to edit.  We will also publish all contributions as long as they are genuine and are not threatening or illegal.

It is an open blog and you can contribute to it to.  Either an article, or a poem, maybe a drawing or artwork.

This blog is aimed at all  who deal with or know people who deal with mental health issues.  Our goal is to get people talking and to tell our stories so that others can see that Mental Health issues are not things to be ashamed of or embarrassed about.
